HELICOPTER RESCUE, ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST, EATON CANYON HIKING INJURY

ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST- A female teen hiker experienced severe head trauma on Saturday, 1/22/2011 at 4:00pm, due to falling rocks that came down from a cliffside at the Eaton Canyon hiking trail in the Angeles National Forest. The incident happened near a waterfall at Henniger Flats, a location up the Eaton Canyon trail in the San Gabriel mountains, near Pasadena California, which many hikers frequent on the weekends.

The teen was rescued by a helicopter and transported to the trauma center at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.
