NORTHEAST PASADENA

Northeast Pasadena is a section of the city the runs north of the 210 Freeway, extending from the east side of
Marengo Avenue all the way to the eastern boundaries of the city. Most of Northeast Pasadena are residential
neighborhoods.

The first, original landmark neighborhood established within the city, Bungalow Heaven, is located in northeast
Pasadena. A majority of the neighborhoods in Northeast Pasadena consist of tree lined, residential streets with
historic Craftsman Bungalows and Spanish homes.

The Northeast neighborhoods of Kinneloa Mesa and Hastings Ranch on the other hand are post World War II
neighborhoods, with a majority of Mid-Century Moderns and California Ranch style homes.
