Jack Huang and His Mini-Empire in Old Town Pasadena
A former aerospace engineer, Jack Huang now reigns as the pioneer in the sophisticated and cosmopolitan night life that now defines Old Town Pasadena. Starting off with the highly successful Wok n’ Roll, the restaurateur now owns some of the most talked about hot spots in Old Town, which include Villa Sorriso, at the western edge of Old Town, the new ixTapa at the eastern edge, and BarCelona right smack dab in the center of everything.
Jack Huang has obviously gotten the job of restaurateur down right. All three of his establishments have booked up tables during dinner, a line-up at the bars, and packed dance floors on the weekend.
